Although Club Rugby has just enjoyed its off-season and the Club itself is in the "demolition phase" of our major Development.

July and August are the months in which all of the Provincial Under-age Squads are selected, coached and start playing fixtures against overseas opponents, both home and away.

This may not be the definitive list for this season as a couple of players are unavailable through injury at present and could yet be added to the respective Squads before the end of September, at which point the curtain comes down on the Under-age Representative Rugby, except for the Provincial and Irish Under 20 Squads.

We’re also trying to confirm that Byron O’Hara is the first Terenure player to be selected for the Leinster Clubs Squad.

It’s also worth noting that Casper Gabriel (Year 2) and Henry McErlean (Year 3) retain their places in the Leinster Academy whilst Fintan Gunne and John McKee both have contracts with the Leinster Senior Squad for season 2025/’26.

A big congratulations to Leinster Rugby on their 32-7 victory over the Bulls last June in Croke Park. It was great to see such a strong Terenure representation on the day, with Fintan Gunne scoring a scintillating try, with Henry McErlean, John McKee and Jack O’Brien (S&C Coach) enjoying the celebrations on the pitch after the game.

Will Hickey & JJ Kenny are on trial with Leinster currently, whilst Conall Boomer was on trial with Ulster during the Summer.
