Terenure Sharks Secure Leinster League Division 2 Title with Strong Performance

The Sharks U14 girls’ team delivered a fantastic performance to claim the Leinster League Division 2 title with a victory over Dundalk on March 15th at Naas RFC.

A well-structured defensive effort, including excellent counter-rucking, kept Dundalk at bay. The Sharks showed impressive footwork and pace on the wings, with multiple tries coming from well-executed backline moves. The forwards also played a key role, making strong runs that drew in defenders and created space for their teammates. The kicking game was sharp, with all but one try successfully converted.

The team was presented with the league cup and winners’ medals, celebrating a remarkable achievement that exceeded their season goal of simply reaching a final. With the Metro League final set for April 26th, the Sharks now have their sights set on adding even more silverware to their collection.
